Get to know Whitney Larson
Can you give me a little background on where you grew up, went to school, and majored in?
I was born and raised in Waconia, Minnesota. While I grew up in central Minnesota, many of my childhood memories are from northeastern Minnesota on the Iron Range and the Boundary Waters. I obtained my AAS degree in Legal Administration from Dakota County Technical College and my Paralegal Certificate from Rasmussen College.
What are some of your passions (hobbies & interests)?
Growing up, my passion was ballet, and while I am no longer in ballet, I still love attending ballets. The theater in general has always held my heart – musicals, especially. I am an avid reader, I enjoy working out, I am a golfer, and I love traveling abroad.
Who is the most influential person in your life?
My husband continuously shows me what it means to be strong with kindness and humility, and what resilience truly means. His influence keeps me grounded but determined.

What do you value most and why?
Transparency and genuineness. In every aspect of life, I try to be the most authentic me I can be. Doing so not only shows respect for myself, but for those I interact with in any capacity.
What inspires you to work in this industry?
I believe those who feel voiceless deserve to be heard. This industry allows us to be advocates for so many people.
What is your proudest achievement outside of your career?
When I was in high school, I endured various medical setbacks, that, at one time, had me believing I would not be able to achieve the goals I had set for myself. My proudest achievement would be overcoming those setbacks and finding the unplanned path to arrive where I am today.
What’s something on your “bucket list”?
I hope to travel to and truly experience being in at least 100 countries.
Best piece of business advice?
Communication is essential. Whether you’re communicating with your team, clients, vendors, associates – anyone, clear and concise communication leads to success.
