We are proud to be celebrating our fifth consecutive year supporting The Go Jen Go Foundation and their annual Run Jen Run 5K & Festival happening on March 21, 2026, at Symphony Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Go Jen Go Foundation embodies the strength of a community that lifts its own, and that is our kind of good energy!

Founded in Charlotte, Go Jen Go provides direct financial assistance to local individuals undergoing breast cancer treatment. Its purpose is both simple and impactful: reduce financial strain so patients can focus on healing. When treatment becomes the priority, everyday obligations such as mortgage payments, rent, utilities, and groceries do not disappear. Go Jen Go steps in during these moments, offering real and tangible relief when it matters most.

What sets the organization apart is its dedication to supporting residents right here in our region. Funds raised in our community stay in our community. The results are immediate, personal, and deeply meaningful.

Each spring, that mission comes to life as the community gathers together in the beautiful Southpark area for Run Jen Run 5K & Festival to ensure no one faces this journey alone.

At Dye Culik, our mission is Do the Work, Do the Good, and doing good for this incredible organization is such an honor.

What is Run Jen Run and How Can You Support?

Run Jen Run is a family (and pup) friendly event that includes a 5K starting at Symphony Park. It is also a street festival and gathering of supporters of breast cancer survivors, thrivers, and fighters, along with community businesses supporting the cause and raising awareness for breast cancer. You can run, walk, or just mingle. Run Jen Run is more than a race…

It is a celebration of strength. A reminder of resilience. A visible symbol of hope. A meaningful way to give back locally.

Susan Evren, Executive Director of The Go Jen Go Foundation, describes it as: “Our Run Jen Run 5K & Festival is truly one of the most meaningful days of the year for us. To see our community come together to support local breast cancer survivors, thrivers, and fighters is a true testament to Jen’s legacy and our impact on families in need.”

Ultimately, Run Jen Run represents the best of Charlotte: neighbors supporting neighbors, businesses standing beside families, and a community choosing to care in meaningful ways.

The Story Behind the Mission

At the heart of Go Jen Go is its founder, Jen Pagani. Jen’s vision was shaped by her own experience. During her own breast cancer journey, she saw firsthand how quickly treatment costs extend beyond medical bills and into every corner of daily life. While fighting for her health, she, like many others, still faced the pressure of running a household while raising her two young kids.

Rather than allowing that experience to remain personal, Jen transformed it into purpose.

She created Go Jen Go to provide stability during instability, to ensure that women in Charlotte would not have to carry financial anxiety alongside a medical battle. What began as one woman responding to her own awareness has grown into a trusted source of support for families across the region.

Each year, Run Jen Run reflects that same spirit: resilience, determination, and the belief that community can lighten even the heaviest burdens.

On March 21, Charlotte will once again gather for Run Jen Run, Go Jen Go’s beloved, high-energy, heart-driven event that brings together runners, walkers, families, survivors, thrivers, fighters and supporters.

Jen attended the first race on March 2, 2013, after enduring 5 1/2 years of treatment. At the time, she was just put on a new drug due to continued progression. But…she still showed up.

“Today is the first day I’ve had to sit quietly with my thoughts since Saturday’s race. And what a race it was! It was one of the most memorable mornings of my entire life! I cannot believe the turnout we had: it capped at somewhere over 900 participants! WOW.”  Jen Pagani – CaringBridge, March 6, 2013

Every registration, every sponsorship, and every step forward helps fund direct financial assistance for Charlotte-area breast cancer patients. Jen was there in person then and we know she continues to be in spirit now.

This is a community impact you can see and feel.

Our Why

At Dye Culik, we believe that community involvement is a responsibility, and strong communities are built when businesses actively participate, not simply operate.

As a Charlotte-based law firm, we help individuals and businesses navigate complex, often uncertain circumstances. We understand how destabilizing life’s unexpected challenges can be. We also understand the power of steady support.

Supporting Go Jen Go aligns naturally with who we are. For us, it’s about reinforcing the values of compassion, integrity, and service that guide our firm. It is about showing up for Charlotte in meaningful ways.

When women in our own community are navigating one of life’s most difficult chapters, standing on the sidelines is not an option. Supporting The Go Jen Go Foundation is one way we extend our commitment to service beyond the office, not only advocating for clients in professional settings, but also standing beside neighbors in personal moments of need.

We hope you will consider joining us. Whether you are running, walking, volunteering, sponsoring, or cheering from the sidelines, this morning of hope offers an opportunity to be part of something greater than a single event.
